Obviously there are many valid points in the three parts. Yet the conspirational theory that underlines almost every idea highlighted in this movie, makes it almost comical.
-Of course there is intertextuality between pre-monotheist and monotheist regligions (we know it academically for a long time and more precisely obviously than what had been mentioned in the movie), but in the movies it's laid out too simplistically and naively: the scheme of a group of few people went through all pre-monothesitic data and created the "myth" of jesus is just childish... Besides it's not enough, to argue for "Jesus did not exist", that he was not mentiond in the major contemporary sources... from an historical point of view that's exactly what's expected to happen from such sources...
-Yes there are many questions that still need to be answered about 9/11 events (including the "explosion")... But to claim that Qaida was not behind it is simply pure ignorance of the available evidence most of all of Qaida own claims (and not only in that movie OBL "seems not the guy we know")....
-Banking powers of course are pushing their agenda... But assuming that they do what they want and more importatntly "wars" are simply made to make money is just an ignorant/simplistic/stupid statement that disregards totally world political-strategical real conflicts and contraditions
One last thing: if there is something "zeitgeist" ("the nature of our time" as the original German word means) in this movie, is the movie itself: a time where simplistic ideas prevail!
I think it is more "The spirit of our time". Of course, I agree with your analysis. Yet I admire the way they lay out their ideas. I bet a lot of people will believe their theories :) It is just a matter of time. Note that like with any intellectual/spiritual movement or religion, it takes a lot of time to sink in. So It is obvious that we think of this the way you did. But if there is support behinf it, you'll never know what people will say in 2 or 3 centuries, specially for Part 1.
I agree... I think people don't buy these theories because of the way they are put. All material I checked concerning 9/11 conspiracy has similar flaws: they nail the problems, but jump to conclusions way too fast. There's a serious lack of credible advocate for this cause, and most people believe the bearer rather than the discourse. But we just might find one sometime soon. I get regular voices from economic or libertarian conservatives that are angry with Bush's policies in these domains that portray him more and more as following an exclusively religious agenda. Maybe we'll come to consider 9/11 as a hoax within our lifetime.
Thanks for this revelation because it was a BIG WAAW for me ..
I focused more on the first Part .. I liked the idea of comparing the previous religions to that current one ... It makes sense somehow ... because the movie is a non-profit one, why would it be releasing false facts ... ... the second point ; WARS ARE MADE TO MAKE MONEY !! why would it be war so?? to defend values ?? what kind of values needs a war to be defended ?? Some corporation or association reaching a level of wealth becomes a state in the state and with all these lobbies in Washington, It's not strange to go to war for money. Lobbying is a completely legal system ... and one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington is AIPAC ( the "I" is for Israel ) ... regardless of all other big companies/associations not listing their lobbies. The NRA (National Rifle Association) always defended the amendment of gun ownership ...
